恩爱的新人
四月廾八是儿子大喜之日,我以最兴奋的心情迎接媳妇.
九点左右教堂己坐满了亲朋戚友,非常感动他们的到来为新人祝福祷告,更感谢从香港到来八十岁的三婶,堂妹,堂弟,外甥女,槟城来的两位乾弟妇,乾姐夫,当然感激柯博士以表哥,新郎伴,证婚人的身份来参加,场面好热闹.
四位可爱的小花童,有如小天使,随着音乐慢慢步入礼堂,而後三位漂亮的伴娘姗姗而来,大家久等的新娘笑吟吟的挽着父亲的手慢步而入.当父亲把女儿交给新郎时,心裹充满了依依不舍之感,使我想起两年前女儿结婚,当时心情也是如此激动.天下父母心都是一样的!
婚礼仪式在神父的主持下完美告成,一对新人笑容满面步出礼堂,好温馨的一幕.
到了酒店礼堂己来了许多贵宾,老友重聚,小孩们玩在一起,大家都好开心.
一进 ballroom, 远远看到三张红布的嘉宾桌,其他的都是用黑桌布,黑色餐巾加上红丝带,桌上放了鲜艳的红玫瑰花,看去多显眼,非常特别美观,亲朋戚友都赞好,大家异口冈声说 Grand Hyatt 有创造风格,主人家会欣赏.客人开心,我们也欢心.
主菜用完後,客人都被请到大厅堂另一端享用甜品自由餐,以 chocolate-fondue 为主,这是媳妇精撰的, 加上许许多多的美味蛋糕,大家都吃得津津有味,对这种特别的安排,赞不绝口.
这婚礼一切一切都是媳妇细心策划,我只有袖手旁观,需要参加意见就大谈理论,需要帮忙时就尽力而为,大家合作得非常轻松愉快,和睦共处,乐在其中,完全没有代沟,毕竟这是年轻人的终生大事,让他们随心所欲,完美的婚礼会带来幸福的婚姻.
愿主保佑,一对新人婚姻美满,而我们大家能快乐的安居在一屋檐下.

i am not familar with the tradition on the wedding.
may i ask what the story is presenting cooked pork with the head?
This was the roast pig requested by the bride's parents and was presented to them few days before the wedding. Upon delivery, they cut the head and the hind legs to return to us and the rest of the meat they would cut into pcs to give away to their relatives and friends informing them that their precious daughter was getting married. I think this is the custom of the Cantonese people.
This was the only custom both family agreed to observe.
